CRANIO / Head & Neck

The head and the neck work as a relationship.

Before anatomy becomes terminology, there is a simple reality: your head has to be supported, oriented and moved all day.

The Head

We begin with what you experience: position, movement, effort, tension, symmetry and the ability to settle.

The Neck

The upper neck is part of the support system that allows the head to orient and move. CRANIO is interested in how that support behaves in real work and daily life.

The Connection

Head position and upper-neck behavior are not isolated variables. A change in one can alter what the rest of the system has to do.

The Reference

CRANIO therefore asks what reference the head occupies, especially at the cranio-cervical junction.

The purpose is not to label an experience. It is to establish a state that can be observed, changed and compared.
